Biography

Mrs. Lucy Fitch Fudge, 101, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Graceland Care Center in Oxford, MS. There will be a funeral service on Monday, July 30, 2012 in the sanctuary of College Hill Presbyterian Church at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Alan Cochet officiating. Burial will follow in College Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Lafayette county, Mrs. Fudge was the widow of Mr. Harold Locke and Mr. Linder Fudge. She was a member of College Hill Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Fudge was known for her love of helping and caring for others. She was considered to be a loving caregiver to her family and enjoyed cooking for them and spending time growing flowers. Mrs. Fudge was preceded in death by her sisters, Lena Mae Styers and Gladys Lorene Fitch and her brothers, H.B. Fitch, Herchel Fitch and Fred Fitch, Sr.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
