Biography

Mrs. Ruth Alice Pogue, 89, retired secretary for the Lawrence School District, of Lawrence, IN; died Monday, June 18, 2012 at Graceland Care Center in Oxford. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Indianapolis, IN, Mrs. Pogue was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Bonita Springs, FL, while in Oxford she attended First Presbyterian Church of Oxford and services at Azalea Gardens.

Survivors include her daughter, Rev. Marcia Fuson of Newport News, VA; her son, Dr. Larry C. Cox of Oxford; one sister, Helen McColgin of Indianapolis, IN and four grandchildren.
