Biography
Mrs. Corrine Metts Robbins, 91, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in Pontotoc, MS. A graveside service will be held Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. at Eastover Memorial Cemetery in Oxford, MS with the Rev. John Kramer officiating.
Born in Lafayette County, MS, Mrs. Robbins was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church and a former member of Oxford University United Methodist where she served as a Sunday school teacher for 10 years. Mrs. Robbins was also a Girl Scout Leader of Troop # 163 for 10 years and a member of the Senior Citizens Water Aerobics at Ole Miss.
Survivors include her two daughters, Robin Robbins Smith and her husband Robert of Ecru, MS and Wanda Robbins Daniel and her husband Ed of McDonough, GA; one son, John Wayne Robbins and his wife Betty of Oxford, MS; one brother, Albert Metts of Senetobia, MS; four grandchildren; and 3 grandchildren.
