Biography

Mrs. Nancy Higgins Fowler, 65, a retired house mother for the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at Ole Miss, died Thursday, July 07, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi. The memorial service will be held at a later date in Chicago, Illinois. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.

Born in Evanston, Illinois, Mrs. Fowler enjoyed spending time with her husband and was a loving and dedicated grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Fowler of Oxford; two daughters, Corey Ussery and her husband, Mike of Oxford, MS and Kimberly Kohl and her husband, David of Charlotte, NC; a son, Mike Giertz of Wheeling, WV; two sisters, Sallie Hogan of Birmingham, MI and Pamela McClamrock of Kenilworth, IL; a brother, Robert Higgins of Wilmette, IL and four grandchildren
